Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour
Apr. 8th, 2010 01:08 amSo I saw Doctor Who at Eastercon on a Big Giant telly with many hundreds of other people. It was great. I flailed a lot. For about half an hour beforehand I was flailing too, but that was a cunning mixture of excitement and DREADING DREAD. Cause my one hope was it was not going to be sodding awful. The year of specials was meh at best (even though I loved Lindsay Duncan and am dead easy for any Doctor/Master stuff) and season four, despite enjoying much of it, seemed very tired to me. I wanted Doctor Who to be all shiny and swishy and full of joy again. AND IT WAS. LIKE MAGIC MAGIC PIE.
I feel I have been v restrained with quoting lines, cause there was like a lot, a lot of a lot. Lots of stuff I liked.
( here is a list of things what I thought )
