Went to bed early last night instead of staying up to watch Torchwood. Now have to avoid most of flist until I can watch the bloody thing. Ho hum.

...

While I'm waiting, I shall share the fact that this is my least favourite title of anything ever. This has nothing to do with S&S 3 and the fact that I was marginally flaily until, thank goodness, an atrociously bad rubber monster thing showed up (worse than the Ogron god, man, worse than the Ogron god) and e'er so slightly shattered the atmosphere, hurrah. (Nothing appeared at the last moment to stop Teh Fear in the next assignment though - oh my - you thought Blink was bad? I NOW HAVE TO BURN ALL PHOTOS EVER. That sort of stuff is terrifying enough in Roald Dahl, never mind putting it on the telly for grown-ups.)

...

Aha! Gotcha... oh, how irritating. Another absurdly likeable episode. Hmph.

So after I was all surprised at the sudden arrival of The Time Meddler, being kind of unaware that it was coming out on DVD in the first place, I'm trying to pay attention to the DVD releases and cheering at the news that The Brain of Morbius is on its way. BRAIN IN A JAR. Oh, beautiful cracktastic genius of a story. About A BRAIN IN A JAR. In a cellar. Of a castle. In which there lives a mad scientist. They knock the brain out of the jar at one point and just BUNG IT STRAIGHT BACK IN. It'll be fine, surely, and you know what? IT TOTALLY IS. ::love::

Am slightly cheering at this poll at [livejournal.com profile] doctorwho because, despite the whole 'Favourite Doctor? The Incumbent Always Wins (unless it's Tom Baker, sometimes)' rule, Delgado is pretty much drawing even with Simm. And with Simm's general popularity and the fact that the Delgado!Master stories are thirty years old now, that's pretty goshdarned impressive, yes.

Also, Joss Whedon on the strike, which is Not Over Yet, though people seem to think it is, and for people not to be forgetting that the studio people left the table illegally and such. Yes. ::waves wee Support the Writers flag::

There is meme on me flist about a YouTube clip like the inside of your head. Often my head is v like this, but with maybe more humming and colours. Like pink. I like pink. Anyway:

inside of my head sort of )

And there has been Edwardian Torchwood fic on my flist, it is here and it is wonderful and is there any more anywhere? I haven't actually gone a-looking yet, for all I know there maybe great swathes of it, but I suspect not, woes.

Freema Agyeman's latest interview has been posted over at [livejournal.com profile] lifeonmartha and there's a couple of bits that have maked me cheer and such, and probably minor spoilers, yes.
