• Have started watching The Event. jekesta has a lovely pimpin' post here. Am enjoying very much and totally encourage watching. It's not omg!amazing but quite exciting and fun and feels very confident which makes me think maybe whatever plot decisions they make won't be horrendously dull or right fuck-ups. • 20 Awesomely Untranslatable Words from Around the World - this is a great list. There is a Scots word on it! That sort of thing makes me happy. The word is tartle. It is a thing I do often, woes. Though surely English has copied schaudenfreude by now and taken away its capital and put it in the OED, yes? So less untranslatable and more...thieved.
