Dec. 16th, 2011 06:17 pmSometime this weekend I hope to work up the energy to answer ALL THE EMAIL, or all the LJ comments I've completely failed at replying to over the past couple of weeks, er, month...ak, they go right back to October. Okay, months. Oh dear. Ahrrrm. But, yes, if you get a reply to a terribly old comment, it's not LJ being weird, it's me trying to engage with the universe.
Sometimes I wish I was more enthused about maths because science is just incredibly exciting and amazing, and I wanted to be a scientist sort FOREVER and this is the sort of field that I would get all starry-eyed about except then I did Sixth Year Studies Chemistry (a Scottish thing, it's like a first level uni course you can do in your last year of school) and it made me utterly miserable. But obv the more important thing here is the possibility of discovering the basic building block of the universe. Cause how incredible is that?
Almost as scientific, erm, somehow, is the Doctor Who Christmas trailer:
SPACESHIP! I wanted more Narnia jokes, tbh, but am totally content with the fact there is a VERY SPIFFY LOOKING SPACESHIP in it. Also I see Bill Bailey's face, for which I'm going to be utterly rubbish at suspending my disbelief about cause Bill Bailey is either a real person or he's Manny and any other option I find kind of tricky to pretend is even a little bit true.
And then there be spoilers for s7, though the sort of spoilers that, if you're British, you're going to have to hide out in your cellar with the Internet and telly off if you want to not know them before s7 actually airs. ( spoilers yo )
