It looks as though we were squeeing in roughly all the same places. The Rose mention of the week would have annoyed me, although it was at least justified by the context - it even makes me wonder whether all the Rose stuff, far from just catering to the batshit shippy people's emo, might in fact be going somewhere. Rose certainly seems to have the presence in Smith's memories that Verity had in the novel.
