I can see why she might've been a touch annoyed.

And there was some stuff with the Ood. It all looks v nice and nothing made me go OH GOD NOOOOOO.

Wait, what?

Would she have not been Queen anymore if she married? He's not a prince! He's not even really British even if he likes to pretend he is! Would she have ceased to be Queen Elizabeth if she married non-royalty from another country/planet?

No, she'd have been Queen no matter who she married. It could've provoked a civil war (hence why she wasn't really keen on marrying an Englishman) but the act of marriage in and of itslef would in no way affect her legal claim to the throne or her status as Queen Regnant.
