What the shit was that? Probably there were bits that I didn't think wtf at. Mostly involving being shallow about Timothy Dalton.

The room hurled many variations of "hurry up and die!!" at the screen. Alas, tend to agree. WHAT HAPPENED TO PLOT OMG WHAT WHAT USUALLY ONE OF THOSE IS HELPFUL. I do not want to say anything about the womens because omg OMG WHAT DECADE DO YOU THINK THIS IS WTF.

Matt Smith moves beautifully. I hope he is good.

In conclusion, it was better than Monster of Peladon. WELL DONE.

I like to think because, unlike Gwen or RTD, he recognises that the Doctor is not omniscient and omnipresent and should not be the protector of humans to the exclusion of the universe's many other people in need.

Well, I think you're right actually - I was only joking about the Jack thing. I like to think that Jack has seen enough bad shit go down in his time to know that things like that really do happen sometimes, and sometimes it's nobody's fault. I actually find the idea that he would be pissed at Ten about that to be too angsty, too RTD-ish if you will. I've always thought that one of the cool things about the Doctor and Jack was that they were equals in some sense, just as some of the classic companions were and as the NuWho companions have all-too-rarely been allowed to be...

Ahem, that was a bit off-topic, wasn't it? ;D
