There is NEW ELEVENTY on my telly, cause the season 5 boxset arrived today and there are two SHINY SHINY 'in the TARDIS' scenes that were never in episodes. They're also online and easily findable. AND BRILLIANT.

Omg, Amy, STOP TALKING. She babbles wonderfully. The Doctor looks VERY GUILTY AND AVOIDY about how long the TARDIS has been a police box. OH AND HOW SHE LOVES THE BOWTIE. And by love, I mean is weirdly obsessed by. AND THEN ELEVENTY SAYS SHE'S THE ALIEN. And it's in that lovely, lovely way Matt Smith has of making SO MANY LINES just amazing and I love him. "Are you like a tiny little slug in a human suit?" OH AMY.

Heh, the TARDIS made an eighties noise! That eighties noise when it lands, except it wasn't landing: the Doctor hit a switch. And flicking it the other way sounds a bit Cloister Bell-y.

ANYWAY...OMG AMY. I LOVE HER. I love how direct she is because YES QUITE signals are easily QUITE QUITE MIXED and she's not the sort of person to worry and fret about Mixed Signals but to say WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THESE MIXED SIGNALS? (I've now typed Mixed Signals enough that it's started to sound very silly to me and possibly more like the name of a tasty cocktail.) "Get your coat, love; the Doctor is in." OH AMY.

"No, no, that's not what I'm like."

"Then what are you like?"

"I don't know... Gandalf. A space Gandalf." And that is when I died.

...

OH, THERE'S MORE. "That was just an involuntary snort...of fondness." OH ELEVENTY.

Then she finds out about Other Comapnions and IT IS GREAT. "Any of them hot?" asks Amy. "...maybe one or two, I didn't really notice." ::FLAILY HANDS:: "This big old machine must have some kind of visual records." (OH AMY.) Which is voice-locked, so she tricksies him into unlocking it. OMG OMG OMG COMPANION AWESOME.

And there's...Rose, Sarah, Romana I, Liz Shaw (heh, is that a hint at some awesome off-screen adventuring? Or is the TARDIS just a bit vague about the meaning of 'resident'?), Martha, Romana I again, Rose again, Donna, Polly, Jo, Romana I for a third time, Zoe, Victoria, Romana II, Leela, Babs, Tegan, Peri. "Woo, Gandalf!" says Amy inbetween her AWESOME LOLS. "Thanks, dear," the Doc says to the TARDIS cause she's tots IN ON IT. "Is that a leather bikini?" asks Amy as the TARDIS moves onto a whole photoshoot of Leela pics, heh.

Part of me is convinced both Amy and Rory are bisexual. If only because it might mean OT3 timez, but in Amy's case this video is pretty convincing.

I saw this and was like Eleven is being a DOOORRRRRKKKKK (oh god, space Gandalf, SPACE GANDALF) and Amy's is tripping him up again. I love how she takes the fact he travelled with so many people in stride and just uses it as a massive opportunity to tease him.

Also, loved Amy being defensive on Rory's behalf though, even if she was reluctant at this point to go pick him up.

It's like the writers took all the bits that they anticipated the fans griping about with this new Doctor (since the first episode hadn't yet aired when this was written [?]), and preempted them with this bit. It definitely should have been left in.
