I love this ficathon, I do. And it's up!
So that was my evening reading last night and now I rec, for reccing is good. Yes.
Seeking Lethe (DW/HGttG) - worth it for the opening Hitchhiker's Guide entry alone; those opening paragraphs are sheer comedic bliss. (I like mockage of my fandom's canon, yes.)
"Man, you're not going to get drunk like that," Zaphod said. "It's the attitude as much as the drink. You got to hang loose, man. Be cool. Let it creep up on you like the fingers of a lover through your hair. Not that you have much hair there."
Yes, then there is a bar. There's a lot of fic about with the Doctor and bars and getting drunk, but none of them have Zaphod, dude. And Zaphod is good. Very good. Very Zaphod. This makes me happy.
Made to Be Lost (Farscape/HHGttG) - smashing Douglas Adams voice, and nice wee scenes. Like hot chcolate, in a way.
Grace in a Vacuum (ST:TNG/SGA) - Rodney alone and going mad in a terribly entertaining way, hurrah! It made me laugh and that is good, yes.
Lopped-off Asparagus Spears (B5/Futurama) - It is Londo and Bender. Londo and Bender. Dude. DUDE.
He has a credit chip and a tracking chip implanted in Bender's antenna, and prays the Centauri Republic has need for a great deal of bending in the near future.
They are both spot-on and this is the sort of crossover that has Absolutely No Right To Work, but it does. Superbly.
Piece of the Dead (B5/Farscape) - a gorgeous character piece with Stark and Lyta & G'Kar post season 5.
And as for my own story - I can't find it. Either it's the one that's not finished, the 404 error one or I really have completely forgotten what I requested. So, um, yes, if anyone spots it, let me know? Ahem. Tis the 404 one, ho hum.
And, this has nought to do with Multiverse, but the Tenth Doctor Ficathon, and
hathy_col wrote my story and I have just read it and I LOVE IT LIKE STRAWBERRIES. Yes. It is Deus Ex Machina and is witty and beautifully told. Also it has the Master in it. I AM NOT SHALLOW, it is v good indeed, yes. Rose is smashing too.
