After seeing almost all of season two of Jeremiah, I like it lots and sort of wish I'd followed season one a bit more when [livejournal.com profile] jekesta and [livejournal.com profile] nerdcakes were watching it. Woe. Have been mocked for love of Marcus, hmph, but he is Win, yes, and I am told he is better in season one. Sadly, since season one does not include Mr Smith, I imagine it will be much less good.

Quite excited about The Sarah Jane Adventures (daft name as it is, it's still better than K-9 & Company, forshame), mostly for the fact that Lis Sladen will be onna telly, partly cause Samantha Bond is being in it so there are clearly going to be smashing femslash possibilites, yes. There is never enough femslash in ma fandom. And it is not November yet. So The Invasion is still not here, woe. But look at alla shiny extras! Dude! CARTOONS! (there will come a time when I stop the squee over cartoon! Two, but that is clearly not today, noes.)

And [livejournal.com profile] jekesta has decided that it is A Good Plan for her to see the whole of Doctor Who. In order. Despite the fact that this will clearly take Forever and almost all my tapes are hundreds of miles away and I will make her watch the recons. But we started anyways and have so far made it to The Daleks, part three. Ian is currently crap for saying he can do everything despite NOT BEING ABLE TO WALK and the Doctor is perfectly mad and rubbish and sadly that does not last for much longer. Babs has yet to be truly fab so am not sure Jen is actually appreciating her brilliance yet, hrrm. Aztecs soon though, yes. Good.

Randomly, have rediscovered Actual Rose Love since I started writing post-Doomsday fic with plot and, oh, I remember how great she was in series one! She's not scared of stuff! She investigates! She's rubbish at being not!jealous! And Mickey and her and their stuff in Git'Face is WIN, and I have quite a bit of love for their friendship, yes (I am hoping my memories are not tricking me and the Rose&Mickey stuff in that episode is actually as fun as I'm thinking.) So, yes, that is being fun.

The OG is still yellow. It is a bit easier to read now that it was before, but still...yellow. I am not against yellow, but...yellow. Like custard. Yellow. But 100x100 avatars, dude! That's quite shiny.

I think I start at my new uni on Monday. That is not very far away at all.

Ian will always be mockably win for the line "My legs! I can't feel my legs!" What is not to love about this horrifically terrible line and the way he delivers it?

(I am hoping my memories are not tricking me and the Rose&Mickey stuff in that episode is actually as fun as I'm thinking.)

No, it is excellent and that is why MICKEY SHOULD HAVE STAYED LONGER. At least he got a gay boyfriend out of it, I guess.

We mocked that! And then I fell asleep I think and woke to the mocking of him for, "No! I must be heroic and manly...argh! I cannot walk!"

MICKEY IS SO WIN AS COMPANION. I am glad that I did not remember badly, yes.

Oh, do not remind me of the shiny Invasion extras! It looks wonderful. But then I think I really should not buy it since I actually have the video of that one. But then it is terribly good. And new animations! And good people for commentaries. So tempting...

I am very glad they didn't film 'Rose Tyler: Earth Defender' after all, because I don't think it would survive the naffness of its naming. But Sarah Jane is so much yay.

Oh, even if I wasn't awful and completist and buy all the DVDs anyways, I'd get all the b&w ones cause, dude, they do such a gorgeous clean-up job with the video and sound. Also, CARTOONS! :D

Rose Tyler: Earth Defender amused me for the RT(E)D acronym, yes.

Rose OWNED in season one. Then the Bad Wolf did something funny to her brain and she returned to her ordinary stupid giggly teenager state. Which is a shame. Because she OWNED.

Aye, I really do love her in 1, and when she is away from the Doctor she, in my head, goes back to those smashing ways like woah, yes.

Last time I saw it they were still pretty much winning like a winny thing.

It is possible that I went out and tracked down some of the recent Bond films so I could watch Samantha Bond and ponder femslash potential. But only possible. I'm not saying it's true or anything. ;) Now I kind of want a James Bond/Torchwood crossover, though, which was not what I set out for.

Rose still is cool when she's away from the Doctor. It's just the Doctor seems to sap her intelligence and makes her stupid!

Tis of da sad :(

I try to be optimist and think she knows that he knows what he's doing and such, but I do wish she'd stood up to him At All in series 2, yes.

Rose post-Doomsday actually rocks quite a lot if you get her to do something. *beam*

Watching all of Doctor Who would take forever, but at least you wouldn't run out of it. :)
