Reading it, I didn't expect to be as moved as I am. But, yeah.
And much as I despise Labour for other things, they have done a lot of good in terms of recognising LGBT rights. Thanks to Labour, the age of consent was lowered, gay couples (or single people) can adopt, gay couples can get a civil union that gives them the same rights as a married hetrosexual couple, gay men and women can serve openly in our military, gay women get access to IVF treatments, bloody section 28 got repealed...
So it's not suprising that they haven't been arses when it comes to this, but it's still darn good to see it happening.
