LOVELY MERLIN TIME YAY.

  • Arthur all naked in bed, yay! It is like this is a new theme of the series. I approve.

  • Mealtime!lols. Ah, shiny Merlin and Arthur interactions, you are ever so shiny.

  • Oh, and there is a lovely bit too with Arthur protecting Merlin and saying he completely trusts him and the bounter hunter dude should sod off and I am well easy for mush when I already love the dudes yay.

  • "Are those my sausages? You took them!" "To keep you in shape." Are you saying I'm fat? I am not fat!" "You see, it's working." ILU!MERLIN&ARTHUR. LOVE LIKE MISSING SAUSAGES.

  • OMG IS DRUID LADY MERLIN FANCIES A WEREWOLF? I am so hoping for werewolf. Ee! Wild animal says Gaius. BE A WEREWOLF OMG PLEASE KTHXBI.

  • Where are Gwen and Morgana show? I do not approve of their absence. Hrrrrm.

  • Hurrah! There you are Gwen...catching Merlin trying Morgana's clothes out, heh.

  • "If we don't stop them, we'll all be walking around naked!" OH MERLIN.

  • Booooo. Werewolves don't have wings, dammit. Nor do they look like big cats. Hmph.

  • Not the worst CGI monstering ever, but pretty unimpressive, alas.

  • Panther-bat is like the Hulk and only Betty Merlin can calm her homicidal ways.

  • OH ARTHUR IS DOING SENSITIVE TALKING TYPE THING WITH MERLIN. I do love their bromance like lots even if I do not slash them proper.

  • Show, you are v lucky to be so good at the Merlin & Arthur lols. Because that was tots a meh episode. Alas Freya was not terribly interesting (but even so she was not so bad she deserved to be fridged) and there was a distinct lack of Teamness and Morgana. Again. Less of that.

  • Next week: "My job...is to woo." OH ARTHUR.

How the hell did Merlin get a half-conscious girl into a pretty frock, past a million guards + Arthur, and far enough into the country for there to be lakes and mountains? Can he teleport now? Mostly I feel cheated of a werewolf, boo.

Given the amount of Successful Sneaking Merlin does, I do assume Vast Incompetence on the part of the guards at this point.

Oh, good, I was not the only one wondering that (not that I really thought I was).

I have read spoilers that suggest the final episodes will be Morgana-centric. I hope it's true.

You can tell that you care about your Flist when you watch a show and go "THERE IS NO MORGANA! [livejournal.com profile] calapine will be all sad!"

I too mourned it not being a werewolf. Though I did have a good laugh about the fact that it's called a "Bastard." Do you think they just wanted to sneak that word in there?

I quite liked Freya - I was hoping Merlin would use magic and she'd be the actual Lady of the Lake and come up with Excalibur when it's needed and she and Merlin could have had weird watery sex ... I may still be clinging to this hope ...

Next week may be hideously embarassing and yet so beautiful that I may die. I can't decide which.

I think it was actually a "Bastet", but I admit I did a double-take when I first heard it as well.

Speaking of next week, is this the season of Ill-Considered Romances or what?

*headdesk* Of course it was! It's based on the Eygptian Goddess! Arragh, can't believe I didn't get that (mind you, my version was funnier)

It really, really is. Apparently, whoever is in charge of the script writing this season likes two things - people having romances of DISASTER and horse manure. Which are strange kinks to have, but I do not judge! ;)

This is very true, about the horse manure. I find this... disturbing somehow.

It is quite disturbing. Very, very funny but ... so strange! (actually, that sums up a lot of Merlin ...)

If she spent 2 days in the cage, why didnt she change at the stroke of midnight there too? Sloppy writing bothers me along with helpless girl who needs to be rescued being Freya's only character traits. Where have all the awesome girls on this series gone?

I can see the appeal of "helpless girl needing rescue" to Merlin in particular, given that he so seldom gets to (openly) play hero to anyone. But yeah, it would have been nice to get a little more character development. And I want more of the awesome girls we have already, pls. I hope there is lots and lots of Gwen and Morgana in the last two eps because we seem to be running out of time!
