Oh, something I am glad about (it's ruined five seconds later, naturally, but NEVER MIND) is that we've not gone back to pre-Invasion of Time Gallifrey, hurrah (clip from EoT II, yo) and that the Time Lords are not all evil but have, as per usual, forgotten that whoever gets Teh Power on their planet goes bugnuts like a fucking crazy dude. (And did they get desperate enough that they had to go find themselves a Pythia or something? Also, I will be so, so happy if I never hear the word prophecy in Doctor Who ever again.)

Course, the nice clip's CUNNINGLY RUINED because women who express opinions MUST DIE OBV. Is there actually a single woman-with-power in the past four years of this series who hasn't ended up very dead? (Plus there's a little extra pain as she's really awfully Romana-like, arg.)

(Is that a black woman in there too? I can't quite be sure, but that would be the first non-white Time Lady if it is. NO LINES FOR HER O COURSE.)

I HOPE THAT GIZMO IS THE HAND OF OMEGA BTW.
