Panic, panic, panic
Jan. 21st, 2006 01:54 pmWhat happened to this week? I think I must have destroyed it in a fit of fic-writing and playing KotOR and denial at having to do any work.
But it seems to be Friday, again, and our phoneline still isn't working and I haven't done this week's copy and I haven't got any food at all in the flat so today I've had a cup of coffee and half a bottle of Irn Bru to, um, eat. Mother would not be pleased.
Oh, and I had a rather bizarre dream concerning Mr Tennant and self being chased by six foot tall gay ferrets. I hate my subconscious.
But Good News! Edinburgh uni rector elections are coming up. Last time this happened, I was but a wee first year and the choice of candidates was uninspiring. Worse, our rector for the past three years has been Tam Dalyel. Who is dull as anything.
But this year, we have a truly great man standing, this year we are bloody well going to elect the best darn rector in the country, for on February the 15th, I shall be voting for: Boris Johnson! Hurrah! am quietly ignoring the fact that EUSA, and thus virtually the entire population of students that actually bothers to vote in these things is supporting Mark Ballard.
I am going to read some fic that has appeared on flist and then I am going to the office like a good and responsible person. Which I totally am. Yes.
