  • I'm catching up on Supernatural and Holywood Babylon fills me with GLEE. Cheese makes me happy, and that's some very, very fine cheese.

  • I listened to the new Blake's 7 audio, and couldn't stop giggling. Blake is Scottish! Servalan is Scottish! It's just...bizarre. The soundscape is gorgeous, but it's very strange, very...superficial. Like, if you needed to catch someone up on Blake's 7 very quickly, because they had to watch Pressure Point for the couch scene and you wanted them to know the background.

  • I like the Avon-dude purely because Colin Salmon got the coolest death in Resident Evil. A movie which, against all reason, I adore madly.

  • Charley Pollard is a Federation person in it and that's just strange and bizarre and makes me expect PMG's wonderful tones to suddenly appear making it a slightly wonderful crossover.

  • I have not watched Heroes and am constantly afraid of the Internet spoilering me.

  • I did not know there was going to be a Mummy III, and when I found out, it came with the Worst Possible News: no eleven-ish Doctor! Evie is being recast and that makes me so very sad. Boo.

  • I have started to watch Smallville. I have no idea why. It's quite popcorn-entertaining so far though, so yays. It is painfully obvious why fandom hates Lana.

I actually adore Resident Evil. It has tough women, something vaguely plot-like, attractive men, and a badass leader guy.

And, y'know, zombies.

Yes, yes and yes! I like the second one, but the first one hits all my buttons for horror and characters, in the shallowest possible way.

How did you get the new Blake's Seven? Official download from the site, or some even more convenient mechanism?

Colin Salmon has a lovely voice. And he's quite a handsome man. But no matter how much I try, every time I hear him, I start giggling, because that voice is *not* Avonic. (Whee, I made up a word!)

His tones are too lovely for me to mock properly. And he's only had two lines! Boo!

He does speak quite a bit in 4th and 5th 'episodes.'

I have fallen asleep every time I watched Smallville... it may be the most turgid program on Earth (and I speak as someone who has experienced and survived German Sitcom).

But of course that's just me :)

I enjoy a lot of utterly appalling crap purely because some apsect appeals in a very shallow way. Like Smallville, and Lex, whom I now love a bit.

Oh how well do I understand that? (I have at least three shows that I would pay HEAPS to get on DVD, but which I know are embarrassingly absolute tripe).

Holywood Babylon fills me with glee as well. I really need to catch up on the last two episodes.

Servalan being Scottish is beyond creepy and wrong.
