OMG! THIS:

::FLAILS:: I am going to be a VERY GOOD EFFORT not to type this ENTIRE ENTRY in CAPSLOCK. MAGNETO. CHARLES. JAMES MCAVOY IS PROFESSOR X OMG.

BUT OH NEW X-MEN. NEW X-MEN THAT IS ALL ABOUT XAVIER AND MAGNETO. THEY ARE YOUNG AND PRETTY DOES THAT MEAN FANDOM WILL WRITE ALL THE FIC IN THE WORLD ABOUT THEM NOW? I hope so. I am trying not to be slightly YARG at the wee clips of the X-men trilogy for, lo, it is part of the same continuity and, yes, I loved the first movie and almost everything about the second one (everything I didn't like involved my going WTF at what they made Magneto do) and the third one...let us not talk of the third one IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. It DIDN'T HAPPEN because there is no way you can take the Dark Phoenix storyline and mess it up that badly. You just can't.

But, yes, LOOK AT IT. Look at 0.56, omg, THEY ARE ON A BED TOGETHER GOODNESS SAKE. IN SUITS.

AND THERE IS MYSTIQUE! AND EMMA FROST! Oh, dudes, Emma Frost was the sole reason I might've risked seeing that Wolverine thing but I couldn't quite bring myself to do it. Also, I am totally taking her appearance here in the sixties to make that awful thing uncanonical, yes.

In conclusion, I love the X-Men. And this looks amazing. (I haven't ever read a comic, btw - I should, but I have fear of what would happen, cause I suspect I'd end up wanting All The Comics and that could only end badly - all opinions were formed based on Saturday morning watchings of the brilliant early nineties cartoon, and I get well judgey at stuff that deviates from its view of the Xavier and Magneto relationship...I also forget they weren't ever actually, technically, according to what words really mean, a canonical couple. Except obviously they were.)
