Now that dissertation...

I have decided that this...this thing is sucking the life out of me. I will not hate it though, no, we will be friends and it will give me words and we will both be very happy together till death. Its death. Bloody dissertation. I have 150 words left today and then I will feel as though I can Meet Targets by slowly increasing them each day, yes. That is the plan. Today's target tis/was 500 words. It is a good number, yes.
I watched The Long Twilight Struggle today, possibly my favourite season two episode of Babylon 5 for the superb speech that G'Kar gives in the council chambers. This is my own wee memorial to an actor who gave life to my favourite character in Babylon 5, an alien who was never a cypher, but a complex, living, breathing person that I never ceased to believe in. Not even in Legend of the Rangers. Andreas Katsulas was smashing at what he did, yes.
I need a nice proper G'kar icon.
And some time ago I made a not entirely sucky fanfiction cover for Orphans. But Photoshop is no longer working as a distraction. I think Pressure is getting to me. I can go and get a cup of tea, but I can't properly stop work unless I've just woken up or am planning to sleep. Which I'm not. For a few hours anyway. Yarg. Sadly, this has led to an increasingly stupid number of hours spent on OG. Which cannot be good.

I think it's a weapon of mind-controlling aliens. They use it to siphon the life-force from anyone who becomes educated enough to potentially uncover their evil schemes.

But I hate it until it dies.
Good.
I love G'Kar.

If Hollywood weren't so beauty-obsessed and terrified of the sf genre, he would've won every award in the book.
